Lebenshilfe für Menschen mit Behinderung Singen-Hegau
reichert & reichert has been supporting the Lebenshilfe für Menschen mit Behinderung Singen-Hegau charity for many years. Hansjörg Reichert is chair of the board of the charity and of the Lebenshilfe trust.
The law firm also supports the Lebenshilfe charity by giving advice in various areas, e.g. setting up a quality management and accounting system.
“My commitment comes from charitable work in my youth, which was a matter of course for Scouts in the 1970s and 80s. Our aim is to support the work of the Lebenshilfe charity and come up with and implement new ideas as we do so.”
Lebenshilfe sponsored run
Every year our team lines up once again on the starting line, running shoes laced tightly, ready for the Lebenshilfe sponsored run. Together we cover a lot of kilometres and are therefore able to help the cause of Lebenshilfe Singen-Hegau.
Commitment to using renewable energy
The law firm actively supports the energy transformation towards the production of heat and electricity from renewable energies. Hansjörg Reichert played an important part war in setting up the Solarcomplex AG community company and works tirelessly and persistently as a member of the supervisory board in pursuit of the objective of converting all of the energy supply (both heat and electricity) in the region west of Lake Constance to renewable energy by 2030.
So far, the law firm has provided consulting support for investments of over EUR 250 million in this area. The investments relate to the generation of electricity from photovoltaic, bio-energy, hydroelectric and wind power and delivery of heat to so-called “bio-energy villages”.
Use of energy in the law firm
We produce many times more than the energy requirements of the law firm in our own photovoltaic plants. The company is fitted throughout with low-energy lighting and IT technology that meets the latest environmental specifications. The plan is gradually to convert the vehicle fleet of the firm to electric power.
Nicaragua Project
Until 2006, Hansjörg Reichert was chairman of the board of Pan y Arte e.V., an association with the aim of promoting cultural exchange between Germany and Central America and which runs numerous educational establishments in Nicaragua (projects such as “Música en los Barrios”, “Casa de los tres des mundos” (www.c3m.com). These projects are still supported by the law firm. This included support for the so-called “Ópera Reggaetón” in Granada/Nicaragua in 2010.
Some of the offices in our practice in Singen had paintings on display from the studio of the artists’ workshop at the “Casa del de los tres mundos” (House of the Three Worlds).
